Why we built this.

We spent years in the political and policy ecosystem, in Brussels and across Europe, before we could name what we kept seeing: a field underserved by technology, improvising, patching together systems built for other kinds of work.

The fault runs both ways. Technology companies never went deep here, partly because they have not done the work and do not know its processes. And inside the ecosystem, we learned to accept the pain: institutional memory that leaves with every departure, spreadsheets nobody opens twice, and no way to show, in measured terms, the impact everyone can feel.

Convening, made deliberate; memory made actionable. Behind those words is a conviction: Governance and policy work become more impactful when technology fits the way the work is actually done, carries the mundane, and leaves people the part that matters: the room, the relationship, the argument. Tools that support the process make collaboration easier. Institutions that stop forgetting become more sustainable.

We built Convenor to make this ecosystem more efficient, and the European ambition more achievable.
